Training and Capacity Building Approach
Our Integrated training approach consists of five components – Assess, Learn, Reinforce, Support and Validate – and merges multiple delivery methods and learning resources to create the most effective learning experience.
Our participatory method of facilitation and delivery is divided into two training sessions per unit standard with 30% being theoretical training and 70% practical training. Methods such as interactive learning, instructions, positive learning experience, group discussions, presentations, practical assignments and data collection are also utilised.
To provide learning and knowledge sharing opportunities in response to the diversified needs, priorities, constraints and learning styles of its learners. Our approach is the informative framework of how you will learn with us. It contains several ingredients which, blended together.
Its five essential methodological features are described below.
- Individually and organizational learning needs are systematically assessed and matched with the design of the activities to ensure relevance and retention.
- Methods are active, participatory, practice-oriented and make extensive use of information and communication technology,
- On skills training we exercise the general rule of 70/30.
70% of the training will be practical and 30 % theoretical learning. - Because relevance and impact are increasingly important to learners and employers, all training is systematically evaluated against previously set objectives,
- To constantly monitor and improve the quality of training, regular reports document the findings and create a feedback loop that continuously feeds into the design and implementation of new activities.
